Those near him, or serving him - other than truly innocent dupes(?) - are transparently part of the "real anti-Christ" identified by Thomas Jefferson in his unsent letter to Samuel Kercheval.

Death for TreasoniAmericanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11175930755849489874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14438897.post-1141594164982632962006-03-05T14:29:00.000-07:002006-03-05T14:29:00.000-07:00Thanks, RTSO. Also suggested is that political landscape is part of the course syllabus. Assuming that's true, I'll happily retract my assertion that his comments were wholly inappropriate, but I will add this -- he should have anticipated the firestorm his commentary would generate and as was suggested by someone with whom I was discussing this issue, he should have inserted many more caveats into his rant in order to a.) keep with the school's (claimed) policy of "balance" and b.) insure against his comments being labeled as "fringe" by the great number of RW conservatives in the community.
In other words, while I support his overall message, his delivery was sloppy and he arguably should have known better, assuming this is *not* the reaction he was hoping to provoke.
If it was, then more power to him.Cantankerous Bitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08353178783999591681noreply@blogger.com
