So Much for the Black Vote

From yesterday's WaPo:

In what may turn out to be one of the biggest free-falls in the history of presidential polling, President Bush's job-approval rating among African Americans has dropped to 2 percent, according to a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll.

When one has something in common with milk, it may be time to rethink one's goals.

This explains why Bush and Co. are doing their best to eradicate black voters from the rolls, one must wonder if the two percent pass the paper bag test. Just one more reason I like black people more than white people.

I have to wonder what would happen if they accidentally disenfranchised 5% more- would we have negative poll numbers?
Perhaps they ought to ask for fifteen forms of id or accuse a few thousand more people of being ineligible felons.
One more reason I like Lew better than white people.

Well, given that the typical sampling error is +/- 3%, I read that as a legitimate possibility that Bush's numbers are actually -1%. Wheee heee!

And given that I dislike most of the general population, I think I'll add Lew to my short list of "good folk", too.

Hey Lew,
Did you see the copy of Mehlman's memo to the RNC subscribers the day after Katrina hit? No mention whatsoever about the hurricane, but lots of cheerleading for the "death tax" elimination. -eye roll-
So much for "making amends" with the black community, eh?
