Who Knew John Cusack Blogs?
I didn't. And I freely admit that I sat down to read for all the cheesy reasons -- I think he's a fabulous actor and an incredibly sexy man. Happily, and not the least bit surprisingly, he's also a terrific writer. Go look. Carving out quotes will blow the rhythm and won't do the post any justice.

If by "kickboxer" you're referring to his character in Say Anything, yes, that would be the dude in question.
I just love his explanation to Diane's father about what he wants to do with his life. Great.

I can relate to an aversion to participating in the GNP. I am so naive I didn't initially realize that even blogs were so immersed in the trappings of commercialism.
